Exiting my Growth Positions

I normally hold all of my growth and momentum stock picks for a set time period, and then re-run my screening to update the portfolio.

However, in recent months I've noticed that a significant number of my holdings would no longer pass my criteria if I screened them today.

I want to stick to my annual screening schedule, but I also don't want to hold stocks which no longer qualify (for example, which have lost their momentum).

Today, I sold my ten stock picks and replaced them with an equal amount of XIC, the Canadian index. I will resume the stock-picking exercise in June (on the annual schedule).
